Cabinet Pulls ~ Decisions, Decisions!

By now I'm guessing you've probably seen yesterday's post about painting my oak kitchen cabinets white. Instead of putting another coat of primer on them, right now I'm obsessing over handles and drawer pulls.

I could go traditional and do bin pulls like these on the drawers...
And knobs like these on the cabinet doors...
Or I could go a bit less traditional and do something more funky like these...
Well, really I would do forks and spoons, not just spoons. I'm not sure I'm funky enough for forks and spoons though...but my children sure would get a kick out of them!

What do you think? And polished chrome or brushed/satin nickel?

I vote for brushed nickel! The spoons and forks are a hoot! My kids would love those too!

I LOVE them both (big help I am, huh?) I've always wanted to use the forks and spoons, so I'd say go with them in a brushed nickel. However, if you chose to go traditional, I'd stick with polish chrome. See, told ya I'd be a big help!! :)

I love bin pulls on drawers -- no matter what the finish! And you can get them sooooo much cheaper from suppliers on Ebay, so you may want to give that a shot. Oh, and if you're wanting to stick with silvery finishes, I vote for the brushed nickel -- whether traditional or contemporary.

I vote for bin pulls all the way!

I love the first ones - the spoons and forks are really cute, though!

This is a difficult one! I say brushed/satin nickel for the finish, but the decision is so difficult for the style. Both are wonderful. Pick choice out of hat!

I am no help at ALL but I can't wait to see what you end up with.

Your kitchen is going to be your new fav spot! We put new cabinets in and I still haven't figured out what type of knobs/handles I want yet. So many choices out there! Since we'll likely be selling next year with a military move, I need to keep mine neutral and simple. Wish I could do those cute forks/spoons though. Darling and fun to mix in there!
Happy decision making hun!
Hugs, Les

def. the brushed nickel. and the bin pulls and knobs. the other ones, cute and fun as they are, don't really strike me as matching the style of your kitchen. I think the bin pull and knob is pretty traditional for the beadboard style cabinets :)

Satin nickel is beautiful. My mom has it in her bathroom and loves it.

I think the cup pulls in either brushed or polished would be more timeless and totally match the style of your kitchen you are aiming for. I prefer the polished!
